Chef - BIBO/FIFO 14:7 (Northern Territory)

About the role

Sodexo is looking for experienced chefs for BIBO/FIFO roles based in Darwin, Northern Territory, on a 14 days on, 7 days off roster. The work takes place in a busy village environment serving mining communities, with meals prepared across breakfast, crib and dinner services. The position is offered as casual with the possibility of permanent placement for high performers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare meals across breakfast, crib and dinner services
• Work in a high-volume catering environment
• Maintain food safety and HACCP standards
• Deliver consistent quality and presentation
• Work as part of a supportive kitchen team

Required profile

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
• Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens
• FIFO, DIDO or remote site experience desirable but not essential
• Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge
• Australian working rights
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

Required skills

• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Ability to work in remote environments and varying weather conditions
