Change and Communications Lead

About the role

A large Queensland organisation is running a major digital transformation programme focused on improving the student experience through digital experience platforms and AI-enabled search. As Change and Communications Lead, you will work with the Project Manager and a cross-functional Agile delivery team to drive adoption of two key initiatives. The role is advertised as a 12-month contract based in Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run change management, communication, engagement and adoption strategies so stakeholders are ready for new ways of working
• Lead stakeholder engagement, build and manage change champion networks and run business reference groups
• Coordinate training and business readiness activities and develop communication materials
• Support benefits realisation and act as the bridge between business and technical teams

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in change management, communications or business readiness
• Proven track record delivering change programmes with frameworks such as Prosci, AgilePM or similar
• Experience designing and delivering training, adoption and readiness activities, and facilitating workshops and stakeholder forums
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and multidisciplinary project teams

Required skills

• Knowledge of change management methodologies and frameworks
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including writing and speaking and producing communication collateral
• Analytical and problem-solving skills focused on change risk mitigation
