Centre Director – Early Childhood Education

About the role

Mini Masterminds is seeking a passionate full‑time Centre Director for its 90‑place centre at Sydney Olympic Park Betty Cuthbert. You will lead daily operations, ensure high‑quality education and care, and foster a collaborative team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day centre operations, maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation.
• Mentor, inspire and support educators to achieve professional goals and deliver exceptional learning experiences.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community.
• Drive occupancy, quality improvement initiatives and overall centre performance.
• Manage staffing, rostering and centre resources effectively.
• Collaborate with the Head Office Leadership Team to meet organisational objectives.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACE​CQA‑approved).
• Previous experience as a Centre Director in early childhood education.
• Current Working With Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications, and Child Protection training.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF and NQS.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Genuine passion for leading teams and delivering high‑quality education and care.
