Category Manager – Home & Leisure

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Category Manager to lead its Home & Leisure portfolio in Australia. You will own the performance of categories such as DIY, Sports & Outdoors, and Toys, driving growth through strategic supplier partnerships and data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a roadmap to expand selection, improve pricing and increase sales.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, supply chain, Amazon Ads and external suppliers to deliver category targets.
• Negotiate with existing and new brands to secure favorable terms and launch new products.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators across P&L, assortment, and operational metrics.
• Implement structured processes and rigorous mechanisms to optimise operational flows.

Required profile

• Proven ability to own category performance and meet P&L, selection and KPI targets.
• Strong analytical mindset comfortable with complex data analysis.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with internal teams and external partners.
• Self‑starter with a bias for action and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment and diverse perspectives.
