Category Manager – Facilities & Service Solutions (Pacific)

About the role

Accor is seeking a Category Manager to lead sourcing initiatives for Facilities and Service Solutions across the Pacific region, based in Sydney or the Gold Coast. You will drive cost effectiveness, supplier performance, risk mitigation and sustainability outcomes for our hotel portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi‑year category strategies for laundry & linen, energy, guest entertainment and housekeeping labour hire.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing, contract negotiations and supplier performance management, ensuring value for money.
• Identify and mitigate category risks, ensuring compliance with WHS, modern slavery and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with hotel GMs, Operations Directors and cross‑functional teams to align strategies with operational needs.
• Embed sustainability targets into supplier selection and performance, supporting Accor’s ESG commitments.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in category management or strategic sourcing, preferably in hospitality or facilities services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Procurement or related field.
• Proven experience in global sourcing and managing international supplier networks.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Results‑oriented, data‑driven decision making with a strong risk and compliance mindset.
