Category Customer Manager

About the role

Join Kraft Heinz as a Category Customer Manager in Melbourne, Australia, working within the Category Sales team. This permanent role offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor retailer‑oriented plans, manage forecasts and close gaps in collaboration with Finance.
• Partner with Revenue Management to implement promotional guardrails and correct execution misalignments.
• Lead customer‑facing workshops, range reviews and new product launch planning with sales and category teams.
• Conduct bottom‑up customer planning, validate forecast assumptions and drive annual distribution plans.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in FMCG sales, key account management or retailer‑side buying.
• 2+ years working with major Australian retailers such as Coles, Woolworths or Metcash.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is desirable.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with a problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with Nielsen/IRI scan data, Demantra, JDA, Tableau or Quantium.
