Casual Housekeeping Staff

About the role

Six Degrees Albany is a multi-service hospitality venue combining a bar, restaurant and accommodation in Albany, Western Australia. It is looking for enthusiastic and dependable Housekeeping staff on a casual basis. The team keeps motel units, hotel rooms and communal areas clean so guests feel welcome, and can take on extra restaurant cleaning shifts at the sister venues Venice Restaurant and Chanya Thai.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain motel units, hotel rooms and communal areas to a consistently high standard.
• Follow daily housekeeping checklists and cleaning schedules.
• Report maintenance issues or damage promptly to the Supervisor.
• Replenish guest amenities and restock supplies as required.
• Help maintain the overall presentation and hygiene of the venue.
• Support other team members for a smooth guest experience.
• Follow workplace health and safety and infection control procedures.
• As required, assist with restaurant cleaning at Venice Restaurant and Chanya Thai; extra hours available.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months' experience in housekeeping, cleaning or a similar role.
• Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, good at time management and committed to high standards.
