Casual Home and Garden Maintenance Worker (VIC)

About the role

HenderCare is looking for experienced Home and Garden Maintenance workers to join its team on a casual basis, supporting aged care and disability clients with their homes across Victoria. The driver must cover Melbourne Metro, the Bellarine Peninsula and the Mornington Peninsula. Shifts are generally 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekends or public holidays, and are rostered through the AlayaCare app.

Key responsibilities

• Lawn mowing, gutter cleaning, pruning, weeding and hedge trimming
• Checking smoke alarm batteries
• Cleaning windows and high cleaning (fans, exhausts, vents)
• Changing light bulbs and tidying overgrown gardens
• Heavy-duty and industrial cleaning

Required profile

• Previous experience providing home and garden maintenance
• Own reliable smartphone compatible with the AlayaCare app (iOS 16+ or Android 10+)
• Current National Police Check, Working with Children Check (employee type) and NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Own gardening and maintenance equipment and vehicle, plus a UTE/trailer to carry them
