Hospital Cleaner - Casual Hospitality Assistant

About the role

Calvary Riverina Hospital in Wagga Wagga is looking for an enthusiastic Hospitality Assistant with a passion for the hospitality industry to join its busy team on a casual basis. The role provides hospital-grade cleaning across all areas of the hospital, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and presentation, and supports the facility in meeting its quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and bathrooms, make beds, clean floors and carry out other cleaning functions as directed
• Assist in the kitchen as required
• Distribute and collect menus and food

Required profile

• Ability to work unsupervised to complete duties according to the job routine
• Experience in providing high-level cleaning functions
• Reliable and self-motivated, oriented towards being multi-skilled
• Excellent communication skills, friendly disposition and commitment to a high standard of service
• Up-to-date immunisation status as outlined in the NSW Health Policy, with evidence provided
