Casual Domestic Assistant - Melbourne Metro

About the role

HenderCare is recruiting a casual Domestic Assistant to provide home care coverage across Melbourne Metro. The role involves travelling to several clients' homes during the day to keep their homes clean, hygienic and homely according to each person's needs and wishes. Work is Monday to Friday, with weekly pay every Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping and cleaning the bathroom and toilet
• Bed-making, dishwashing, laundry and ironing
• Hanging clothes out and assistance with meal preparation
• Unaccompanied shopping

Required profile

• Previous domestic cleaning experience
• Ability to drive to and from suburbs throughout Melbourne Metro
• Own reliable vehicle and an unrestricted Australian driver's licence
• Current National Police Check (within 12 months), Working with Children's Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Right to work in Australia; pre-employment checks apply
• Willingness to support the elderly and people with a disability

Required skills

• Own smartphone to access the AlayaCare app (work roster)
• Ability to work casual shifts of 1-3 hours per client throughout the day and week
