About the role

Join the Oaks Port Douglas Resort team as a Casual Guest Service Agent, delivering warm, professional service to every guest from arrival to departure. You will be the first point of contact, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth check‑ins, check‑outs, and memorable stays.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly demeanor and manage efficient check‑in and check‑out processes.
• Handle guest inquiries, reservations, updates, and special requests using the property management system.
• Provide accurate information on local attractions, dining options, and resort amenities.
• Address and resolve guest issues promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Maintain clear communication with colleagues and stakeholders across in‑person, phone, and email channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a hotel, hospitality, or customer‑facing environment, preferably front office.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Required skills

• Experience using property management or reservation systems.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rates: $33.38 (Mon‑Fri), $40.05 (Sat), $46.73 (Sun) – AUD per hour.
• Rotating roster covering Monday to Sunday, with shifts between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm.
• Immediate start available.
