Casual Guest Service Agent

About the role

Oaks R Suites Geelong is looking for casual Guest Service Agents to welcome guests and guide them through their stay, from check-in and check-out to advice on local attractions and eateries. The position suits someone who wants to deliver excellent customer service in a hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm, friendly reception to guests on arrival and ensure a smooth, efficient check-in, addressing immediate needs.
• Maintain clear, courteous communication with guests, colleagues and stakeholders by in-person, phone and email.
• Oversee accurate processing of guest reservations, updates and special requests using property management systems.
• Act as the main point of contact during the stay, resolving issues and giving personalised recommendations.

Required profile

• Demonstrated background in service delivery in a hotel, hospitality or customer-facing environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally across different channels.
• Proactive, positive approach to guest needs and a polished, professional presentation.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and varying shifts.
• Working rights in Australia or New Zealand.

Shift details and pay

• Rotating roster Monday to Sunday, shifts between 7:00am and 11:00pm.
• Immediate start available.
• Hourly rates (excluding superannuation): $34.96 on weekdays, $41.96 on Saturday, $48.95 on Sunday.
