Casual Function and Events Supervisor

About the role

The Fresh Collective's Brisbane team is looking for an experienced Function and Events Supervisor to join its service brigade at the Waters Edge and Riverlife venues. It is a casual position with flexible hours between Monday and Sunday, working across a range of waterfront function and event spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage events across multiple spaces at Waters Edge and Riverlife
• Oversee all service aspects, from setup through service to pack down
• Supervise a team of skilled waitstaff and bartenders
• Act as the primary client liaison throughout the event
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service
• Maintain high standards of communication and professionalism

Required profile

• 6 to 12 months' previous experience as a Head Waiter or Venue Supervisor
• Previous function experience
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Attention to detail, a can-do attitude and passion for creating memorable event experiences
• Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for food and beverage
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid RSA certification
