Casual Customer Service Representative

About the role

Amer Sports, owner of internationally recognised brands such as Wilson, Salomon, Arc'teryx and Atomic, is recruiting a casual Customer Service Representative for its Moorabbin Head Office. The role supports B2B accounts and brand and sales representatives by managing orders, answering enquiries and keeping a positive customer experience. It is a key point of contact between accounts and internal stakeholders, and hours vary between 30 and 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Process account orders accurately and efficiently through SAP and EDI order management systems, ensuring timely dispatch to the warehouse and on-time delivery.
• Manage accounts, including order entry, account details and processing of credits.
• Respond to account enquiries by phone, email and other channels, giving order updates, product information and issue resolution.
• Provide information on products, pricing, inventory availability, order status and delivery timelines.
• Investigate and resolve complaints, order discrepancies, delivery issues, returns and warranty claims.
• Monitor backorders and liaise with supply chain teams on inbound inventory and expected arrival dates.
• Support Key Account customers through EDI order management and ongoing service, and collaborate with sales, commercial, brand, warehouse and supply chain teams.
• Meet response time targets, identify ways to improve customer experience and support seasonal launches, promotions and peak trading periods.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar role.
• Availability to work 30-38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Experience working for sporting goods is highly regarded; knowledge of the products is encouraged.
• A passion for golf is a plus.

Required skills

• Confident use of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP (desirable).
• Strong communicator, process-driven.
