Casual Clinical Consultant – Joint Replacement

About the role

Stryker is seeking a Casual Clinical Consultant to join its Joint Replacement team in Darwin. This field‑based role supports orthopaedic procedures primarily on business days, with occasional on‑call and weekend work for urgent cases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support during hip and knee replacement surgeries.
• Build trusted relationships with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Deliver training and education to hospital staff on the effective use of Stryker products.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support territory objectives and case planning.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product offerings and clinical techniques.
• Ensure exceptional service and support to both public and private hospitals across Darwin.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, physiotherapy, science, biomedical engineering).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, theatre‑based environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is advantageous.
• Current driver’s licence and flexibility to travel as required.
