Casual Barista - Jam Packed

About the role

Jam Packed is a café set within the historic walls of The Henry Jones Art Hotel and the IXL Jam Factory in Hobart, offering barista-made coffee, light meals and sweet treats. As a casual barista you will create a warm and memorable experience for every customer, prepare quality coffee, keep service running smoothly and build genuine connections with regulars, hotel guests and visitors.

Required profile

• Experience making coffee in a busy, customer-focused environment
• A friendly, confident approach and genuine care for great customer service
• The ability to stay calm, organised and positive during busy service periods
• Availability to work across a 7-day roster between 7:00am and 3:00pm

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and quality standards
• Knowledge of machine maintenance
