Required profile

  • Bachelor degree or higher in social work, youth work or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience working with young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, within a case management framework and in a trauma-informed way.
  • Knowledge of the homelessness service system, current trends affecting at-risk young people, and the legislative requirements when working with them.
  • Understanding of the Victorian Child Safe Standards and of the issues affecting young people and families at risk of reporting to Child Protection.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with allied services, networks and stakeholders.

Required skills

  • Communication, negotiation, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong administration skills and computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office and client databases is desirable.

What we offer

  • Salary packaging benefits.
  • A supportive learning and development environment.
  • A diverse, inclusive organisation with a culture of continuous improvement.

Applications close on 17 November 2026 (earlier closing possible); applicants should submit a resume and cover letter. Essential screening includes a national police check, Working with Children check, NDIS Worker Screening check or ability to obtain it, a Victorian driver's licence and right to work in Australia.
