Business Rewards Sales Consultant – Outbound Phone Sales

About the role

Join Qantas Business Rewards’ high‑performing sales team to drive growth through outbound phone engagement. In this six‑month fixed‑term position you will contact business owners and travel arrangers, promote the QBR programme and convert conversations into revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound sales calls to QBR customers, building trust and rapport.
• Achieve KPIs for sales engagement, program usage, call quality and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate the value of Qantas Business Rewards and educate customers on relevant offers.
• Use open‑questioning techniques to uncover needs and recommend suitable products.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and follow established processes.
• Participate in product training, sales coaching and team performance initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in outbound telephone sales or account management.
• Strong phone manner with the ability to generate interest and reduce churn.
• Proven track record of meeting sales and customer satisfaction targets.
• Excellent communication, discovery and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data insights.
• Detail‑oriented, organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM reporting or Salesforce (desirable).
