Business Operations and Growth Lead

About the role

The Business Operations and Growth Lead will partner with the Country Manager to drive community growth and optimise programmes across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, the role requires regular in‑office attendance and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Align all functions to achieve ANZ business objectives in partnership with the Country Manager.
• Lead weekly cross‑functional meetings to keep key initiatives on track.
• Analyse macro and micro trends using internal and external data, presenting insights to senior leadership.
• Own day‑to‑day business analysis, anticipate changes and adjust plans to maximise growth and minimise risk.
• Design, execute and measure cross‑functional initiatives across demand, supply and regulatory surfaces.
• Support the Country Manager in crafting performance narratives for regular business reviews.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in business growth, analytics and project management in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
• Proven bias to action and ability to own projects from conception through post‑mortem.
• Comfort operating in uncertainty, creating clarity from ambiguity.
• World‑class written and verbal communication skills, able to present to senior leaders.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to document decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for large‑dataset manipulation.
• SQL proficiency (strongly preferred).
• Familiarity with AI tools (considered an asset).
