Business Development & Marketing Senior Executive Manager

About the role

The Business Development & Marketing Senior Executive Manager will support Clifford Chance’s global BD strategy for the Corporate Transactions and Advisory Group, focusing on M&A and Private Equity in Australia and the wider APAC region. This hands‑on role collaborates with partners, lawyers and other professional functions to drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement BD and marketing plans aligned with firm‑wide strategy, tracking ROI and progress.
• Lead market research on product trends, competitors and client opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
• Act as primary contact for product information, supporting BD initiatives, cross‑selling and client targeting.
• Organise BD events, seminars, conferences and manage marketing communications, including awards submissions.
• Support the creation and distribution of thought‑leadership material and maintain up‑to‑date marketing collateral.

Required profile

• Previous experience in professional services business development, preferably within a law firm.
• Strong commercial awareness of the legal market and ability to build advisory relationships with partners.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong project‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality and the ability to work with lawyers at all seniority levels.
