Business Development Manager - Trade & Construction Equipment

A fast-growing equipment solutions business supporting the construction and surface preparation industry is looking for a Business Development Manager in Brisbane. The role grows the customer base across Southeast Queensland and builds long-term partnerships with contractors, trades and industry partners. It suits someone who enjoys working in the field and winning new business.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the territory through proactive prospecting, cold calling and site visits
• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Identify and convert equipment sales opportunities through demos and follow-up
• Manage the pipeline, quotes and CRM activity to achieve sales targets
• Work closely with marketing to convert inbound leads and create opportunities

Required profile

• Experience in B2B sales, ideally within construction, industrial or trade-focused products
• Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills
• Enjoys autonomy and is proactive by nature
• Ability to manage a territory, plan visits and follow through on commitments
• Customer-first mindset and professional approach
