About the role

Vertiv is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across its Thermal & Power portfolio in the NSW region. The role focuses on influencing decision‑makers early in the customer journey, shaping project specifications, and positioning Vertiv as the preferred partner before opportunities go to tender.

Key responsibilities

Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities across Vertiv’s product and solutions portfolio, with a strong emphasis on new customers.
Build and manage a high‑quality sales pipeline, maintain accurate forecasting, and own annual revenue targets.
Partner with solution architects and pre‑sales engineers to develop tailored, customer‑centric offerings and lead the sales cycle from qualification to closure.
Establish trusted advisory relationships with end‑users, consultants, contractors, and service partners to create demand and shift market perceptions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine sales strategies and improve competitive positioning.
