Business Development Manager – Mental Health & Wellbeing

About the role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand our mental health and wellbeing portfolio. This hunter role will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, delivering our EAP, psychosocial risk, and digital wellbeing solutions to new customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and close new business across the Mental Health & Wellbeing portfolio, meeting individual revenue targets.
• Build and manage a pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, events and referrals, targeting HR, health & safety and wellbeing leaders.
• Sell consultatively by understanding organisational challenges and articulating the value of tech‑enabled, human‑centred solutions.
• Lead pursuits, manage proposals, support tenders (RFPs/RFQs) and pricing, collaborating with internal subject‑matter experts and clinical teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and reporting.
• Partner with the Sales Development Representative to qualify leads and assist with prospecting.

Required profile

• 3+ years of proven B2B business development or sales experience, preferably in wellbeing, health, SaaS, EAP or professional services.
• Strong hunting and consultative selling skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles, tenders and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, resilient, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Full working rights in Australia and willingness to travel for customer meetings.
