Business Development Manager

About the role

Insignia Financial is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth of its market‑leading MLC Wrap Platform across Australia. You will build trusted adviser partnerships, generate new business opportunities and help wealth‑management practices unlock the full value of our solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, convert and develop new adviser relationships while strengthening existing partnerships within your territory.
• Build and execute strategic business development plans to grow adviser networks, AFSL partnerships and market share.
• Deliver engaging presentations, education sessions and sales initiatives to individuals and adviser groups.
• Develop structured 90‑day growth plans and manage a sales pipeline through Salesforce.
• Provide market and client insights to shape products, value proposition and distribution strategy.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Distribution and the broader business to achieve shared growth objectives.

Required profile

• RG146 compliance and Diploma of Financial Planning (or equivalent).
• 3–7 years’ experience in business development within financial services with a strong record of achieving sales targets.
• Solid understanding of financial advice businesses, investment structures and platform solutions.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian financial planning industry and adviser marketplace.
• Excellent relationship management, presentation and influencing skills.
