Territory Manager - Surgical (Hernia Portfolio)

About the role

Medtronic's Surgical business is looking for a driven sales professional with a strong hunter mindset to join its Advanced Surgical Technologies portfolio in South Australia. This is a 13-month contract based in Adelaide, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, focused on growing the Hernia portfolio across the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the Hernia portfolio within the assigned territory to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Build long-term relationships with surgeons, healthcare professionals, hospital decision-makers and distribution partners.
• Identify new business opportunities, assess customer needs and deliver tailored product solutions.
• Provide product support, clinical education and training to ensure adoption of Medtronic technologies.
• Plan and execute territory growth strategies, conduct market analysis and adapt to changing market dynamics.
• Work with Marketing, Clinical, Operations and R&D teams to share customer insights and support product innovation.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (Year 12).
• Proven sales experience selling into hospitals with a track record in medical devices.
• Understanding of the Australian public and private healthcare system and experience in operating theatres.
• Solid clinical knowledge and ability to build relationships with surgeons and medical staff.
• Driver's licence, own transport and willingness to travel 25% of the time.
