Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a high‑energy Business Development Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team at The William Inglis Hotel – MGallery. You will drive new revenue opportunities across corporate, wholesale, inbound and MICE segments, spending two days a week on proactive field sales.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business opportunities across corporate, wholesale, inbound, retail travel agent and MICE segments.
• Manage and grow the hotel’s top‑performing key accounts.
• Conduct external sales calls, client meetings, presentations and networking to drive revenue.
• Identify and convert new market opportunities aligned with the hotel’s strategy.
• Negotiate rates, contracts and commercial agreements.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue, Reservations, Conference & Events and operational teams to maximise results.
• Represent the hotel and Accor brand at industry events, tradeshows and client engagements.
• Maintain strong reporting and pipeline management through the hotel’s sales systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ sales experience, ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Proven ability to build relationships and drive new business.
• Strong negotiation, networking and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with a results‑driven approach to achieving revenue targets.
• High energy, proactive and comfortable working in the field meeting clients.
• Degree in Business, Marketing or related field (preferred).
