Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth in the mining and resources sector across Western Australia. The role focuses on expanding our client base, driving order intake, and securing repeat business with major mining operators, contractors and OEMs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities across mining clients, contractors and consultants.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from early engagement through tender and award.
• Develop long‑term relationships with mining asset owners, EPCs and contractors.
• Lead tender submissions and proposals in close collaboration with estimating and delivery teams.
• Negotiate contracts, manage sales execution and ensure accurate CRM pipeline reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a business development or sales role within mining, industrial or infrastructure sectors.
• Established professional network across Western Australian mining operators, EPCs or major contractors.
• Strong understanding of tendering processes, commercial negotiations and project lifecycles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal estimating, projects and operations teams.
