Business Development Manager (Australia)

About the role

Dandy is a technology company simplifying and modernizing dental practices, backed by leading venture capital firms. It is looking for a Business Development Manager in Australia to hire, manage and scale its Business Development Representative (BDR) team during a period of hypergrowth. The role reports directly to the General Manager of Australia and is central to developing BDRs for internal promotion.

Key responsibilities

• Build a metrics-driven, customer-obsessed team that consistently exceeds quota
• Help design and refine process improvements that improve conversion rates
• Optimize the repeatable, personalized outreach strategy and pipeline generation playbook
• Mentor and coach the team, including weekly one-on-ones
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to improve the lead generation process
• Forecast and project monthly and quarterly quota attainment
• Contribute ideas that accelerate market growth and foster a culture of accountability, performance, respect and continuous learning

Required profile

• 4+ years of sales experience in a high-growth startup, including at least 2 years managing teams of 5+ reps
• Clear grasp of BDR best practices and pipeline generation methods
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Proven track record of motivating employees and driving engagement

Required skills

• Experience with B2B SaaS tools such as Salesforce, Gong and Outreach
• Data interpretation to identify performance improvement opportunities
• Understanding of sales processes, deal progression and pipeline management
