Business Development Manager – Asset Finance

About the role

BOQ Finance is seeking experienced Business Development Managers to grow its Equipment Finance portfolio. The critical position is based in Adelaide, supporting customers, brokers and introducers across South Australia and Tasmania, with about 10% interstate travel.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the equipment and asset finance market.
• Build and nurture relationships with brokers, equipment suppliers and customers.
• Structure finance solutions and guide transactions from origination to settlement.
• Collaborate with credit, operations and banking teams to ensure seamless customer experience while managing risk and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in equipment and asset finance business development.
• Strong commercial mindset, self‑motivated and customer‑focused.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage a portfolio autonomously and represent the BOQ Finance brand in the market.

Required skills

• Knowledge of commercial lending, credit processes and asset finance products.
• Experience structuring finance transactions and navigating credit requirements.
