Business Development Manager – APAC / Southeast Asia

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new revenue for a modern SaaS platform across Australia and the Southeast Asia region. This fully remote position focuses on opening doors, building pipelines, and closing deals in relationship‑driven commercial environments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage senior stakeholders in target accounts across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
• Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies to generate qualified leads.
• Navigate longer‑cycle, relationship‑focused sales processes to secure new SaaS contracts.
• Leverage existing industry relationships and warm‑entry opportunities to accelerate growth.
• Collaborate with internal product and marketing teams to align messaging with market needs.

Required profile

• Proven track record in SaaS or software sales with a strong new‑business focus.
• Demonstrated success selling into South East Asian markets.
• Hunter mentality with strong outbound capability.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
• Experience in hospitality, hotels, venues or event‑related sectors is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience selling SaaS/software solutions.
• Knowledge of APAC market dynamics and cultural nuances.

What we offer

• Base salary $110k–$120k AUD plus superannuation.
• Uncapped commission with realistic Year 1 OTE of $180k–$220k+.
