Business Development Lead APAC

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to become the first dedicated commercial hire for Land Life in Australia. You will shape the company’s commercial strategy, build relationships with large corporates and drive multi‑million‑dollar nature restoration partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Australian commercial strategy, including product positioning and pricing for ACCUs and international nature restoration solutions.
• Identify new market opportunities, establish relationships with corporate buyers, investors and strategic partners, and provide market insights to internal teams.
• Own the full enterprise sales cycle—from prospecting to negotiation and contracting—managing a high‑value pipeline of enterprise customers.
• Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements with large corporate customers, coordinating input from marketing, legal, delivery and other functions.
• Represent Land Life at industry events, build a strong market presence and ensure accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM reporting.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in business development, sales or strategic growth within carbon markets or sustainability domains.
• Proven track record of originating opportunities, growing pipelines and closing multi‑million‑dollar deals.
• Experience selling to ASX‑listed companies or large multinational organisations and familiarity with nature‑based solutions.
• Right to work in Australia.
