Business Development Director - BFSI

About the role

Endava is seeking a Business Development Director to drive growth of bespoke IT services within the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector. This individual will lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, leveraging AI and digital service offerings to meet revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and execute business development strategy to exceed revenue targets for large‑scale IT services deals in BFSI.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects, positioning Endava’s services and AI‑native delivery model Dava.Flow.
• Own the full sales process from prospecting to closing, using existing customer stories and partner ecosystem.
• Leverage partners such as OpenAI, Databricks, Snowflake and hyperscalers to create opportunities.
• Lead negotiations of complex contracts and provide regular updates on pipeline and forecasts.

Required profile

• Proven business development experience selling strategic enterprise technology services to BFSI clients.
• Strong network of contacts or previous customers within the BFSI sector.
• Hunter‑centric sales approach with a track record of net‑new logo acquisition.
• Ability to engage C‑level decision‑makers and act as subject‑matter expert on technology challenges.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AI and digital services trends.
• Experience with partner platforms: OpenAI, Databricks, Snowflake, hyperscalers.
• Familiarity with Endava’s AI‑native delivery model Dava.Flow.
