Business Development Associate

About the role

Marcus Evans is seeking an ambitious Business Development Associate to drive and acquire new sponsorship business for its Australian Summits unit. This in‑person role in Sydney offers a clear career path from associate to senior account executive based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with C‑Level audiences, generate leads and prospect over the phone.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
• Create and execute strategic sales campaigns.
• Nurture new and existing client relationships.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years proven B2B or B2C sales experience, preferably with high‑priced products.
• Track record of exceeding sales goals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• HubSpot (CRM and sales tools).
• Microsoft Office Suite.
