Breakfast Attendant

About the role

Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide is looking for a part-time Breakfast Attendant. As a Heartist, you will join a caring, supportive team where you can grow and pursue career opportunities in the hotel or other hospitality environments.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests and assist with breakfast menu enquiries.
• Operate within the Food Safety Program, including awareness of allergies and dietary requirements.
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques at all times.
• Keep the breakfast area clean and neatly presented, following set opening, closing and daily procedures.
• Take responsibility for your own section and station.

Required profile

• Customer service experience or experience in a similar environment.
• An awareness of food safety practices is preferred.
• A Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.

Required skills

• Ability to manage competing and changing priorities and to work a rotating roster.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts and to work independently with initiative.
• Strong communication, negotiation and networking skills, and time management with multitasking.
• Flexibility, strong personal integrity and a focus on hotel operations.
