Brand Manager - Kids & Fun Brands (Fixed Term)

About the role

Mars Snacking ANZ is looking for a Brand Manager for its Kids & Fun Brands portfolio, based in Melbourne on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Portfolio Marketing Director, the role covers Australian household staples such as Coco Pops, Rice Bubbles and Fruit Loops, leading brand strategy, integrated campaigns and innovation pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run 3-year growth plans and annual brand plans for Coco Pops and the wider portfolio
• Lead marketing campaigns from creative brief through to omnichannel execution and post-campaign review, with creative, media and digital agencies
• Run a 3-5 year innovation pipeline aligned with changing consumer tastes and occasions
• Analyse retail scan data (Nielsen / Circana / IRI), consumer research and category trends to find growth drivers
• Work with Sales, Category, Shopper Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and Finance using S&OP+ processes
• Manage brand budgets, optimise spend and ensure governance compliance

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years of brand marketing experience, ideally in FMCG / CPG or fast-moving retail
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field
• Proven ability to interpret Nielsen/Circana scan metrics and market share data
• Experience steering product innovations and customer-facing activations through stage gates on time and on budget
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to influence cross-functional teams and agencies
