Marketing Intern - Events Marketing & Marketing Automation

About the role

Gallagher's International Marketing team is offering two Marketing Intern positions in Brisbane, covering event marketing, marketing automation and project delivery. Interns gain hands-on experience in the planning, execution and optimisation of marketing initiatives that support the international events program. The program lasts four weeks and is paid.

Key responsibilities

• Intern 1: partner with stakeholders to develop and run marketing campaigns aligned to the events calendar, delivering timely, high-quality communications and promoting events successfully.
• Intern 2: focus on marketing automation and process improvement, streamlining event calendar management and follow-up, and building a tool that supports the team's project roadmap and gives visibility of key initiatives.
• Both interns work in a collaborative global marketing environment, with regular coaching from their manager and team and interaction with the wider intern group.

Required profile

• Student or graduate studying or qualified in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Business.
• A passion for learning, dedication to service and a motivated, helpful attitude; empathy is valued.
• Domestic student with Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Scheduled to finish studies in 2027 or later.
• Available for the internship between 18 January 2027 and 19 February 2027.
