Branch Manager - Community Bank Rosewood

About the role

Bendigo Bank is hiring a Branch Manager for its Community Bank in Rosewood, Queensland. This is a permanent full-time position on a 76-hour roster per fortnight. The role is an all-rounder covering leadership, commercial and operational responsibilities, with the aim of building a strategic plan to gain market share in the local area.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and develop your team's competencies, working with them on performance and career development goals
• Prioritise business performance by tracking KPIs, reporting and creating strategic plans
• Work with the Community Bank board to build community relationships, act as the face of the brand and take part in local events
• Lead by example, prioritise the customer experience and step in where the branch needs you
• Drive the branch's growth through leadership, team coaching and business development

Required profile

• People leadership: the ability to develop, coach and manage staff performance
• Proven sales mentorship experience, implementing strategies to drive business
• Experience in residential and commercial lending (essential)
• Strong communication skills to deliver clear branch expectations
• High-level understanding of lending products, policies and regulations
• Knowledge of retail branch operations

Required skills

• Understanding of financial management, business acumen and risk framework
• Ability to drive operational efficiencies and maintain high standards of compliance
