Block Laying Supervisor

About the role

Tracc Civil, a leading civil construction company in Bibra Lake, is looking for an experienced Block Laying Supervisor to lead its Walls Division crews. This hands‑on role requires strong block‑laying expertise, the ability to manage teams, and a focus on delivering projects safely, on time, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate block laying crews across multiple projects.
• Plan and allocate labour, plant, equipment, and materials to maximise productivity.
• Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Mentor, train and develop crew members to maintain a high‑performing team.
• Maintain effective communication between site crews, supervisors and management.
• Identify and resolve on‑site issues to minimise delays and keep schedules.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with company policies.
• Complete site documentation, inspections and reporting requirements.
• Foster a positive team culture and lead by example on site.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in limestone wall construction and block laying.
• Previous experience supervising or leading construction crews.
• Current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Valid Construction Induction (White) Card.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to quality workmanship, safety standards and environmental compliance.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
• Excavator/Bobcat (Skid Steer) ticket preferred but not essential.
