About the role

The Botanist, a neighbourhood restaurant and bar in Kirribilli known for seasonal dining, botanical-inspired cocktails and an extensive gin bar, is hiring an experienced Bartender. The role suits someone who loves creating memorable guest experiences and wants to join a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve premium cocktails, craft beer, wine and spirits
• Showcase and recommend products from the extensive gin collection
• Deliver warm, friendly and professional customer service
• Share knowledge of signature cocktails, premium spirits and seasonal offerings
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the bar area
• Work efficiently and collaboratively during busy service periods

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and premium gin
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
• Outgoing personality with the confidence to build rapport with guests
• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant, bar or hospitality environment
• Current NSW RSA Competency Card
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
