Bar Supervisor – French Restaurant at Sofitel Adelaide

About the role

Garçon Bleu, the French restaurant on Level 9 of Sofitel Adelaide, is looking for a Bar Supervisor to lead its high‑volume bar team. You will combine creative mixology with strong operational oversight to deliver memorable guest experiences in a luxury hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute inspiring cocktail, spirit, and beer menus, experimenting with new flavours and ingredients.
• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with service standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest requests and feedback.
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance to maintain a motivated team.
• Control inventory, conduct stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of service experience in a high‑volume bar environment.
• Effective communication, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Service‑focused personality with a passion for food and beverage.
• Valid South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
• WSET Level 2 or Level 3 certification.

Required skills
