Banking Officer

About the role

Rexel Australia is seeking a motivated Banking Officer to join its National Accounts Receivable team. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of customer payments while delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process and allocate inbound customer payments via phone, email and the Oracle system.
• Monitor outstanding receipts, unapplied cash and resolve payment discrepancies, including refunds.
• Maintain accurate records and correspondence for each customer interaction.
• Support the end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash cycle by identifying issues and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve them.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, banking, credit or finance administration.
• Strong understanding of AR processes, credit policies and the importance of confidentiality.
• Excellent communication, customer‑service and relationship‑building abilities.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and highly organised with great attention to detail.

Required skills

• Oracle Accounts Receivable (or similar ERP system) proficiency.
• Microsoft Office suite competence.
