About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers, addressing their full financial needs and guiding them through digital and traditional solutions. This part‑time role is based in the Launceston branch and focuses on high‑quality service and customer advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end financial advice and complete customer transactions.
• Engage customers in needs‑based conversations and promote digital banking channels.
• Contribute to increased customer engagement and advocacy.
• Support bank programs and initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of customers from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies and branch procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively and act as a peer coach.
