About the role
As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience for customers, addressing their full range of financial needs and goals. Based primarily in the Epping branch, you will provide high‑quality service, act as a peer coach, and champion ANZ’s Customer Promises.
Key responsibilities
- Drive increased customer engagement and advocacy while creating real value.
- Participate in and support bank programmes and initiatives.
- Know each customer from a risk perspective and ensure compliance with ANZ policies.
- Deliver accurate transaction services and conduct needs‑based conversations.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and act as a role model for colleagues.
Required profile
- Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is a plus.
- Comfortable using and promoting digital banking channels.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
- Willingness to work collaboratively and support rostered Saturday shifts.
- Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
