AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, automate, deploy and manage scalable, highly‑available cloud infrastructure and application environments on AWS. The role involves close collaboration with development, QA, security and operations teams to improve deployment velocity and platform reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure across development, testing and production environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and, where required, CloudFormation.
• Build, manage and optimise CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) for automated build, test, deployment and release.
• Manage Docker containers and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes / Amazon EKS.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and operational dashboards using CloudWatch and other observability tools.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks with Python, Bash or PowerShell scripts.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, ALB/NLB, Route 53, CloudWatch).
• Proven experience with Terraform (IaC) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• Solid background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and version‑control workflows (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
