Auditor – Join a Growing Audit & Assurance Team

About the role

PKF Melbourne is looking for a motivated Auditor with 1‑3 years of external audit experience to join its Audit & Assurance team. You will work closely with senior leaders, gaining hands‑on exposure to a variety of audit engagements while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit workpapers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with audit standards and firm methodology.
• Assist in planning and delivering audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical review procedures.
• Identify and document key business processes and internal controls.
• Work with engagement teams to identify audit risks and develop appropriate audit responses.
• Review financial information and assist in ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Draft reports and communicate findings to senior team members and clients.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve audit queries.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years' experience in external audit.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Working towards CA/CPA qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
