About the role
Baker McKenzie is seeking a Funds Associate lawyer with 3‑4 years of post‑qualification experience to join its Transactional Practice Group in Sydney. The role involves working on fund‑related transactions, capital raisings, M&A, and regulatory matters for major Australian and global clients.
Required profile
- 3‑4 years’ experience in funds, preferably at a top‑tier or leading international firm
- Strong client service orientation with excellent analytical, communication and research skills
- Technical and drafting abilities, business development aptitude, and a commitment to high work standards
- Relevant legal qualifications with a strong academic background
- Ability to work well in a team across Australian offices and internationally, and willingness to mentor others
