About the role
Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Associate Telecoms Engineer to join its Perth team. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work on major infrastructure projects, supporting the design, testing, implementation and delivery of communications systems.
Key responsibilities
- Support an experienced telecommunications engineering team in designing and delivering communications systems for large‑scale projects.
- Assist with testing, commissioning and documentation of IP networking, radio, fibre optic, copper and power transmission systems.
Required profile
- Recent graduate or early‑career engineer (0–2 years) in telecommunications, electrical, electronics or computer engineering.
- Strong interest in telecom systems, willingness to learn from senior engineers and contribute to both office‑based and site‑based activities.
