Associate Lawyer – Workers Compensation

About the role

Turks is seeking a motivated Associate Lawyer to join its high‑performing Employers Liability team in Sydney. You will work on a diverse portfolio of complex workers compensation matters, collaborating closely with clients and senior counsel in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a range of workers compensation cases from inception to resolution.
• Maintain regular client contact and provide strategic legal advice.
• Appear in courts, tribunals and the Personal Injury Commission as required.
• Assist with policy wording review and drafting.

Required profile

• Law degree with a current Practising Certificate.
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in defendant litigation, preferably in workers compensation.
• Strong analytical, drafting and written/verbal communication abilities.
• Enthusiastic, client‑focused attitude with a desire for continuous development.
