Associate Health Litigation Lawyer (Sydney)

About the role

We are seeking an Associate‑level lawyer to join a market‑leading health litigation team in Sydney. The successful candidate will defend large, complex health claims across a range of medical specialties and will work in the Supreme Court, District Court and Coroners Court of New South Wales and Queensland. This position offers exposure to senior partners, award‑winning training and clear pathways for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and file pleadings and other court documents for health‑related claims.
• Prepare evidentiary material and manage document production.
• Develop and implement litigation and regulatory strategies.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand case objectives and provide updates.
• Represent the firm in hearings before the Supreme Court, District Court and Coroners Court in NSW and Queensland.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years post‑admission experience (PAE) in health litigation matters.
• Excellent written, drafting and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated with strong academic achievements.
