Assistant Relationship Manager – Business Banking (Dubbo)

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager will support the District Manager and Relationship Managers in delivering banking solutions to business customers across Agri, Commercial and Small Business sectors in Dubbo. Based at Suncorp Bank’s Dubbo branch, you will help manage and grow a portfolio of regional business clients while ensuring high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers in managing client relationships within an assigned portfolio tier.
• Respond promptly to client queries, maintaining professional service standards.
• Perform administrative tasks for the portfolio, ensuring documentation complies with Suncorp policies.
• Extract and analyse financial statements, cash‑flow forecasts and other financial reports to assess lending risk.
• Identify acceptable risk levels in line with the Risk Appetite Statement and support profitable lending decisions.
• Escalate risks and issues proactively and follow the complaint resolution process.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a collaborative “one‑team” approach.

• Good understanding of financial analysis and risk assessment principles.
